Formed in a soft white clay, this design is taken from a photo when I visited to my family in South West Western Australia. This hand painted design motif is taken from the Jennies' Bloom- Medium Blate and layers colours and pattern to show the depth and beauty of the rose even as it wilts. A floating soft pink glaze with tinges of apricot adorns the external rim. Blates make the perfect dish for entertaining, meal times on the couch or holding treasured items.
$25 delivery Australia-wide, sent by the artist. Pickup from the studio can also be arranged: the studio works out with the artist how the piece gets there, then confirms a time with you.
